THE RULES
ONE Respect this space. While on the site, in the shoutbox, or interacting with people. We see this rule everywhere, every site puts it up and yet, there is still drama, issues. We won't have that here. This is our first rule for a reason. If you are having a bad day, we understand, but if you are found being disrespectful to the members, the staff, or the site, you will be banned. This is a safe space. For fun, for writing and for chatting. That is the most important thing.
TWO We are trying to keep a consistent world here, and as such that means we expect all members to follow the rules. We have listed the different classifications available and the powers. The limits and what we are currently accepting and what is banned. We try not to ban things, but if something becomes a little too unbalanced we will, at least temporarily. Please follow the guidelines set out for each member group. That's not to say you can not come up with something unique. If you have a power idea not listed but would still fit with the character and their member group you are welcome to use it. Just be advised staff may not approve of all ideas. This is to keep the board in balance and things fair for ALL members.
THREE We look for the basic good role playing skills. These include, but are not limited to: Decent Grammar, Spellchecking, Word Count of 200+, No God Modding, No Purple Prose, Consequences of Actions, and Interaction. If you have questions on what that all means feel free to ask. We try not to be ogres and do not check the word count on everything. We are assuming members can moderate themselves for the most part.
FOUR After you register to join the site please change your display name to First Name and Last Name in proper capitalization. We have a current character limit of 5 characters.
FIVE We do not have canon characters, more canon spaces. We take place after the show so none of those characters are available. So creating a character that is simply a carbon copy of a canon is not allowed. This also makes it easier for members who have never seen the show to get involved! We do however, have teams. There are core members of each team and you are welcome to reserve a spot on those teams. Any other characters must earn their way onto the teams.
SIX Extras are nice but not necessary. You are welcome to put up graphics, signatures at 500x300 or smaller and avatars no bigger than 200x300. You can use templates and plot pages for keeping track of your relationships as well. We have a wanted section for any characters you may be looking for. Friends and family. We have a thread tracker for all site threads, please keep it up to date with your threads so members can see where there is interaction to be had!
SEVEN Activity should be about twice a week please. If you need to be gone for awhile just put up a post in the hiatus thread. We will also have larger plots and activities for members. Some may request volunteers as well. Most will not be required but some may be if they are large enough. If members have smaller plots going on so much the better! Anything involving rape, death, pregnancy, or experimenting needs to be run past staff first. We will probably approve it if it makes sense, but we just don't want a million babies!
EIGHT Last but not least, please fill out the application in full before getting involved. There are claims as well, just to make sure no one else takes your play by or room! Get involved, plot, plan and have fun! That's the point after all!
